Avis :
C'est un magnifique album, profond et touchant. L'accompagnement est très surprenant (accordéon et steel guitar),mais très juste, très sobre. L'extraordinaire grain de voix d'Abbey est parfaitement rendu, avec cette cassure soudaine dont les éclats vous transpercent le coeur.
Je la préfère dans ce registre sombre et lumineux (association paradoxale ? Ecoutez, vous comprendrez) que dans les assertions militantes de son jeune temps.
C'est pour moi le meilleur des albums de madame Lincoln.
... Et mon Dieu, à tout âge, qu'elle est belle !
